Step One: Garlic Paste
Combine two cloves of garlic with two tablespoons of baking soda.Mash and mix until it reaches a paste-like consistency.Apply to affected area and cover with gauze.Let sit for 30 minutes.
Caution: If you feel irritation, remove the paste immediately, since garlic can sometimes be too strong on the skin and produce a slight burn.
Step Two: Herbal Soak
Add 6 tablespoons of dried herbs into a quart jar.Fill with nearly boiling water and let sit for 1 to 2 hours or, if possible, overnight.Strain the mixture into a basin and soak affected area for 20 to 60 minutes.
Step Three: Licorice-Infused Coconut Oil
Heat the coconut oil on low heat until it melts, then add the herbs.Stir the herbs in and keep on low heat for about 10-30 minutes.Once done, strain the mixture into a glass container.Let it cool before placing the lid.
Apply to affected area after the soak to hydrate and moisturize the skin.
